As summer comes to an end, kids go back to school, and the weather turns colder, we start to prep for the hustle and bustle of the many holidays that occupy autumn and winter. Like many people, I enjoy fantastic treats and many of them I tend to enjoy mostly seasonally. So for me this is the perfect time to highlight some fantastic treats and delicious food offerings our family enjoys so much.
This year we had the pleasure of getting to try a delicious assortment of fudge from Z. Cioccolato!
They offer what I would consider hands down the best fudges I’ve ever tasted! They make over 120 different varieties over the course of the year, as well as a variety of other chocolates and candies. You can find Z. Cioccolato in San Francisco, CA or on their website, where they offer free nationwide shipping for orders over $25!
You can buy the fudge in different ways. Either by boxes by piece (4. 6, 9, 12, or 20), by the flavor, or by way of their subscription box. The Fudge of the Month Club (Z. Cioccolato’s subscription box) offers you 4 different flavors each month, with 1/4lb of each flavor. Month to month the box costs $30, and there are discounts if you subscribe to a 3, 6, or 12 month plan.
Dark Sea Salt Caramel Fudge
We were sent a delicious sampling of some of their most popular flavors, 6 of them in total. We got the following flavors: 7 Layer PB Pie, Black Panther, Cookies & Cream, Dark Sea-Salt Caramel, Maple, and Milk Chocolate. Inside our box was a nice little card, and a little pamphlet that showed us some of their fudges and included a check-list to let me know what was sent. Which was good, since it was a total surprise to me.
I will be totally honest and say that there isn’t a single one of the Z. Cioccolato fudge’s that didn’t get completely and happily enjoyed in no time at all here. With my personal favorites being Black Panther (Milk & Dark fudge, PB, and Caramel), and the Dark Sea-Salt Caramel. I must admit I actually ate almost all of the piece of the Dark Sea Salt caramel by myself, it was just THAT good. I also tore into that one before letting anyone else try, I couldn’t resist how absolutely decadent it looked, and was!
Black Panther Fudge
I like to send food gifts to friends and family who don’t live nearby, and sometimes even neighbors and family who live in the same city I do. It’s an easy way for me to let someone know I am thinking about them during the holidays, even if I am often too busy to make something myself. I will be sending along Z. Cioccolato fudge to people in the future. Their customer service, amazing selections, and absolutely to die for fudge and made me an absolute fan!
