Today I’d love to share with you about the awesome Lenovo YOGA Tab 2 Pro!
If there is one thing around here that is well loved and well used it would be portable media devices. Be it handheld gaming devices or tablets. We were given the opportunity to experience the Lenovo YOGA tab 2 pro for a month, and I have to say I’m intensely impressed with the wide range of features this tablet packs.
Disclaimer: we were sent this tablet to try out for 30 days before returning it. Product information as given is from the box and media kit, and my experience… as well as the kids’ are our own. Thanks for understanding!
At 13.3 inches at 2560 x 1440 with a 178* viewing angle, this tablet has the best screen I’ve ever experienced on a tablet so far. The large size makes it great for when you’re playing a two player game, or just trying to get anything done with your toddler next to you. It’s also great for letting your kiddo watch her favorite music videos while you lay in bed not feeling all that great.
The Lenovo YOGA pad 2 pro has a build in kick stand that can be used to hold the tablet at various angles. Meaning I’m not having to sit there the entire time Risi wants to sit there and watch BIGBANG music videos. The kick stand is also used to level the tablet while you have the projector on.
Yep, you heard me! A projector! This tablet features a Pico projector that can project your image/video up to 50 inches as long as you’re in a dark room. It works better if the room is pitch black I’ve noticed, but that’s alright. It worked well enough that Risi was thrilled to be able to ‘touch’ the music videos we were watching.
It’s also nice just to be able to snuggle in my room and project a movie on my closet door, I get to enjoy my nice comfy bed, and see what we’re watching at the same time.
I’d also like to note this is the first tablet I’ve experienced (aside from one kids tablet) that has the speakers in the FRONT of the tablet. Which is nice, because I don’t have to hold my hand behind the tablet to try and bounce the sound off of it just to hear it well enough without blasting it. I also don’t have to alternatively bust out a pair of bluetooth speakers just to hear anything.
The Lenovo YOGA tab 2 pro also has a 5-watt subwoofer to make your sound even better. Meaning music videos sound better on this tablet compared to any other I’ve tried. The kickstand also allows you to hang the tablet up as needed. Which means if you’re trying to play a game and keep little hands out of the way, you can hang this up and play without that issue. It’s also great to hang up in the kitchen to look at recipes without printing them out and having paper all over the place. >.> It’s easy to hang on a hook, nail, or push-pin and have it right there at eye level. I fell in love with being able to do this!

We have loved our time using the Lenovo Yoga Tab 2 pro, it was great watching Var and Lis play games together. Snuggling while projecting movies and music videos for Risi and I, and getting to experience the ease of having it in the kitchen with me. I’m sad to see it have go to away. 🙂
Have you ever tried any Lenovo products? Do you have a tablet? What are you looking for in a tablet if you don’t have one and are looking?

Lenovo is the best! I had a laptop by them for a years, but alas it finally went kaput a few months after accidentally spilling water on the keyboard. I was surprised that it lasted that long, considering how most other laptops would have went kaput then and there. I seriously need to get a new laptop, and I have been thinking about getting this one.
