It’s hard for me to sleep. Some days? It is darn near impossible!
I worried about the idea of trying to use a prescription sleep aid, so I told my doctor I would keep trying other methods before going down that road.
Thank goodness there are a lot of options, and I am happy to talk about one that I’ve recently discovered.
Valerian Sleep is a natural sleep aid (Disclaimer: I was sent a bottle to try, and I am happy to review it!) that hosts three ingredients. That’s it! Melatonin, Valerian root, and Gamma Aminobutyric Acid (GABA). You can take one or two capsules. It just depends on how hard it is for you to sleep.
Most times? It only takes me one to fall asleep relatively quickly, and I don’t wake up feeling all strange and wonky the next morning because I took something too heavy duty. I’ve tried some things you can buy over the counter and end up feeling oddly woozy and tired the next morning. That’s not a feeling I want to suffer through on a daily basis.
I am very please to have finally found something with no wonky affects. More so since I’ve heard my friends talk about melatonin before for their kiddos and such! So I wasn’t worried about that ingredient in there. So having just three ingredients in Valerian Sleep is nothing compared to the scary backs of many other sleep aids I’ve seen.
What do you do when you have a hard time sleeping?
