Today’s prompt is about Piercings and Tattoos, or if I don’t have any what do I think of them?
Well… I do appreciate well done tattoos, but I’m a bit of a coward and always have other things that I want to spend money on other than tattoos. I haven’t 100% designed the perfect tattoo yet, but someday I will and perhaps I will then get one!
As for piercings, it depends on the piercing. I can’t really stand the idea of a tongue ring. The look of them, the idea of the damage that can cause to your teeth and things like that. Still, I wont begrudge anyone them… I just don’t like them personally.
Belly button rings… well, I don’t like my belly so I’d never have one, but lots of people have them and they’re beautiful.
All I really have is my ears pierced, and just once at that!
I would like to have a lip ring.. not a stub in the middle just a thin ring at the side… but I am not sure I’d actually enjoy it or not. So for now I avoid it.
I think maybe I’d look good with an eyebrow ring, but I am not sure the point now that I wear glasses… though I suppose I could wear contacts? I don’t know.
I’m not 100% in love with penis piercings, and yes I have actually felt what it’s like to have sex with someone who has one.. and no.. it didn’t really make it any better in my opinion. >.>
Nipple piercings make my skin feel strange and tingly, and I could never ever get them myself. But still, to each their own. I know they likely make nipples hyper sensitive or what have you, but.. just not my bag. I have things I do that I am sure others don’t particularly love or would do for themselves. So.. live and let live. ^_^
What do you feel/think about piercings and tattoos? Do you have any personally?
This is a fun question. I am a chicken as well. I will say that when it was time to get my daughter’s ears pierced (she had to wait until she was 13) we took her to a piercing studio. We heard so many nightmares from her friends’ parents at school about those places in the mall and infected ears.
The piercing studio was so clean and good with her it really was a great experience.

I admire tats greatly, they are very artistic and beautiful, but after a year in the hospital battling for my life, I am NOT getting needles stuck in me for any reason!!! (obvs the same applies to piercings!) LOL 🙂

I’m more of the “untraditional” mom. I have 15 tattoos in total and only 1 can’t be covered (we I do wear bring rings to cover it from time to time) I also have piercings including my Monroe and a little stud in my nose. I have worked in a tattoo shop in the past doing piercings. I dont have anything that would stop me from being professional.
