With five kids you know I have to plan for, and do a birthday parties
. Some aren’t too close to holidays, but Risiel’s is. Her birthday is on Sunday actually, and so I’ve had to juggle the hustle, bustle and dress of Halloween on top of trying to figure out what to do for her.
While searching party ideas and party places, I found out about LEGO® Birthday Parties at Snapology.
We don’t have a Snapology just yet, ours is thankfully one that is coming soon! So I think I spy my idea for Risiel’s 5th birthday party. Can you believe she’s turning 4 in just a few days? I can’t believe I’ve been blogging long enough that my blog is older than any of my kiddos.
I’ve loved Lego since I was a little kid, we actually have a fair bit of older Lego from my brother, and some that I’ve bought over the years. I love the idea of a place where you can just go and play while also learning. Lego and other building toys offer great benefits. Snaplogy offers a wide range of classes that teach S.T.E.M concepts to kids. As you know, STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEM learning is important to kids as these fields are in high demand, plus the United States is actually falling in the world ranking in math and science. Children are the future of our nation and by getting them interested in STEM concepts early, and fostering their love for these kinds of these. Plus.. heck, LEGO and K’nex are so much fun.
As for Snapology, they make that easy, and doing these projects in a fun group setting is sure to help kids develop and learn things they might not get the chance to do otherwise. They have hands-on activities to kids ages 1- 14, using K’nex, LEGO bricks and technology. Some of these topics include Coding, Video Game Design, Animation and Robotics. They’re great for summer camps, field trips, scouting events, and of course, birthday parties.
Have you seen their adorable mascot in the pictures? His name is Sebastian Gator, and a little LEGO kit of him is exactly what we’re giving away today!
One lucky winner will get a LEGO® bricks set of the Snapology mascot Sebastian Gator (for kids 6 +)
