I got a neat little piece of tech that makes my life easier! I got a Ditto!
I’ll tell you why I needed this little piece of tech in my life..
One of the downsides about cell phones is that most people tend to think if you have one you’re keeping it on your person 24/7. Or at least, they tend to act that way. With five kids, this blog and my side business I am busy often and miss too many calls and texts. Plus if kids are at a friends or at school and they need me? Yeah, I pretty much need to know when I miss a call or text or am getting a call or text. Often I’ll go upstairs or to the bathroom, not hear my phone go off, and not even think to check it. Which I know is bad of me but I guess it’s part of being somewhat older and living in the time before cell phones. I didn’t have anything I needed to check all that often until I was ohh… goodness I was maybe 24 when I got my first smart phone? Only 8 years really! So it’s not something I am 100% used to. Plus I didn’t really get super busy until the last couple of years.
Now, the Ditto is a tiny, discreet waterproof wearable device that allows users to customize how they stay connected without constantly checking their phone. It can be slipped into a jean pocket, clipped on a strap or worn on a band and is perfect for everyday life use. Ditto allows users to disconnect while enjoying time with friend and families, at work or in a class, while working out, or running through a loud, busy airport— while still being notified of the calls, messages and other notifications they deem as important.
It’s been a life saver for me for when I get calls when I’m away from my desk, or to get reminders of appointments. I usually use the wrist band that came with the ditto so I am not misplacing it. It’s cute, and little, but that means I’m very likely to lose it. Which I actually did for about a week the one time I tried not having it on the band! Thankfully for me, the Ditto is water proof, so I just don’t take the darn thing off. Risi wants to have it, so I have to be pretty darn careful.
Ditto is also integrated with today’s popular ride share apps, alerting its users when their Uber car is arriving. And, it notifies when the phone is in the user’s bag, external pocket, etc. so you don’t miss anything. This ‘must-have’ wearable is available online at WearDitto.com and Amazon, and in select Target locations for $39.95.
If you’re looking for a fantastic little gift for the techie in your life. Or maybe someone with ADHD who needs help with their reminders and their phone (guilty) the Ditto is right up your alley! It is a great little piece that has been super beneficial to me lately!
