I got another BoCandy Box!
I was surprised to get another email saying one was shipping to me, and then was highly anticipating my box of yummies!
This month had a bigger selection of treats from Poland, which is cool because I’d never even though ‘Hey, I want to see what Polish treats are like.’ I mean.. does that come to a lot of peoples mind? I know I’ve thought it about Japan, Korea, Australia, and Germany. But Poland wasn’t one that hit my radar.
So my box arrived a little slower than the last time, but that…was because my mail in general was taking forever for some reason. I don’t even know.
My BoCandy box arrived and I was so excited that I went right into my room to do the unboxing! Straight from outside after I’d just gotten back from taking the kids to dinner excited folks. Usually I wait a few days.
I taste tested a few things on the video, and did eat the croissant as well. In the end I didn’t love the croissant as much as I had anticipated. The chocolate wasn’t very nutella like, and seemed strange after microwaving it even though I know my microwave is a bit strong so I lowered the cook time a tad.
I still loved the Kex, and need to look into getting more because just thinking about it has me wishing I was able to just go grab one out of a bag or box. I’m not much one for fruity candy a good deal of the time. But Var really tends to like them, and he did like the strawberry wafer bar that you can find out more about in the video. For February’s BoCandy, I would say for sure the best was the Kex! Who needs Kit Kats? 😛 I want Kex!
You can view the unboxing… Right here! :3
BoCandy is a monthly subscription box of treats from around the world. You can buy a half box or a full sized box. The full sized box offers 6-9 treats for only $15 a month. That includes shipping. There are discounts for longer prepay plans, which are offered in 3, 6 and 12 month options aside from the monthly.
Overall BoCandy allows me to try things out side of my range of scope and thought to even consider trying. It’s low price, low risk, and I’ve enjoyed or the kids have greatly enjoyed, everything we’ve been sent so far. Some more than other things, but that’s normal even in boxes from say.. just Japan or just the US or… anything like that.
