Bounce castles!! One of the things I loved as a kiddo, and my kids love, but we don’t really have access to very often. I mean, our weather sucks about half the year, and even then, there are some places where you can pay to play in bounce houses. Still, they have an age limit of 12, and that pretty much rules out Sisi and Kat. So I was excited when I got accepted to review the Magic Castle XL inflatable bouncer! Plus, since we have monthly parties are my parents place anyway, this would give all the kiddos more to do during them!
This bounce house has a 10 x 10 bounce area, can have up to 5 kiddos at a time (less if you have bigger kiddos, so I had Kat and Sis bounce when there were no little ones..) and sets up super easy! It inflated in less than two minutes. Really, I’d say that the hardest part of having a bounce house is getting the thing to fold up nicely once you’re done with it. >.> We’re… still trying to work on that.
The bounce and slide surfaces of our Blast Zone Magic Castle XL bouncy castle are commercial grade. So no cheap stuff here! We did take it to the October birthday’s party at my parents house and it held up fantastically to all the kids. Who even used it as a base every now and again during their nerf gun fight! You can go to http://www.blastzone.com to look at all they have to offer, both commercial and home use inflatables can be found on their site.
As you can see by the pictures, I set it up before the party, so Risi could experience the castle without other kids there just in case she got nervous with a bunch of bigger kiddos bouncing around her. She had a blast for a bit, and then I decided that she’d probably do better with a sibling. So I had Risi come over from her dads since she was gone for the weekend! I am so glad that I found out about the Magic Castle XL and that Blast Zone has a fantastic selection of home inflatables, which you can find at http://www.blastzone.com/shop/pc/Home-Inflatables-c37.htm
Lisi had a lot of fun, but bouncing is very hard work! Had the weather been better (aka not fall!) when I was approved to review one, I would have picked one of their inflatable water slides to buy! They offer some super awesome ones there! My particular favorites are the Pirates Bay play park, Princess Palace and the Rainforst Run Commercial 360 inflatable Obstacle. It’s… amazing, huge, but amazing! It’s the type of thing you’d see at a carnival or something for sure. You can check all of those out at http://www.blastzone.com/shop/pc/Inflatable-Water-Parks-c3.htm!
Our family parties and in general our warm good weather days are going to be so much more awesome now with our Magic Castle XL giving another reason I can throw the kids outside to do something other than maybe play in the pool, ride their bikes, or whine that they’re stuck outside. 😉 I’m so happy we have one, and… if I was smaller I would totally play in one too! I’m still a kid at heart (okay okay, more than at heart I’ll admit!) maybe if I lose enough weight I can go in for a short time?
