Need help writing? Try one of these 75 Blog Post Ideas!

Everyone wants their blog to make it, at least I would hope so! Sometimes though, it’s really just hard to break out of a writers block and get good ideas to get down to writing.

So I’ve complied a list of blog post ideas to help you get your creative juices flowing!

1. Review a physical product
2. Review a restaurant in your town.
3. Review a restauraunt out of town.
4. Review the most recent book you’ve read.
5. Hold a giveaway.
6. Teach something! (Like my posts on learning Japanese.)
7. Show off your most recent craft.
8. Make step by step tutorial for a craft.
9. Post a Wordless Wednesday post full of pictures about your life, or even just funny/cute pictures you’ve found online.
10. Write about what you do different as a parent than your parents did.
11. Write a letter to your past self.
12. Write a letter to your future self.
13. Make an “about (pet)” post, write as if you ARE your pet.
14. Write about something you’d want to write about if you wrote a book.
15. Share links to your favorite books, use affiliate links if you have them. Just make sure to use proper disclaimers.
16. Do a “Day In The Life Of” post, include pictures and document everything!
17. Sing a song, post the video on YouTube, then write a quick post about it and imbed your video.
18. Join a link list of something or another.
19. Write your to-do list for the week, month, year. Etc!
20. Write about things you regret having not done.
21. Write about things you regret doing.
22. Write a letter to someone in your past.
23. Write a letter to someone in your present!
24. Talk about the most important life lessons you’ve learned.
25. Show off! Your car, your house, kids, whatever.
26. Do a link up post, 10 ways to X, 101 -whatever-, include pictures!
27. Talk about your BAD habits.
28. Talk about your good habits!
29. Write about you/your families personal monthly budget.
30. Make a list of your most popular posts, yep, an entire post linking to only your posts.
31. Link to your favorite blogs or websites and tell a little about each. Explain why you like them.
32. Post recipes!

33. Add yourself to other giveaways and share them on your blog.
34. Post your bucket list.
35. Write about why you started blogging, why you still blog, and your plans in the future for your blog.
36. Write an entire post opening up your comments for lots of questions. Promise to answer them in a post at the end of the week. Any questions at all!
37. Answer all the questions from your previous blog post, no matter what it is.
38. Show off your favorite Pinterest pins.
39. Write about your most recent birthday, or on your birthday post a happy birthday post!
40. Write about your favorite celebrity.
41. Write about your LEAST favorite celebrity.
42. Find sponsored posts you can do, using Linqia, Izea, or Sponsored Reviews, for example.*
43. Write an A-Z post about almost anything! You, your favorite blogging plugins, travel tips, relaxation techniques, beauty supplies. Whatever you’re into, you can do it!
44. Do a “before and after” post. About anything, hair color change? Before and after it! Housing remodel? Car cleaning? Closet decluttering? Anything is game here!
45. Create a list of your favorite free eBooks.
46. Share your favorite jokes.
47. Compile a list of your favorite hacks in whatever your niche is. If you’re like me and your niche is “just about anything I feel like” then you’ve got a lot of wiggle room! Don’t be afraid. 😉
48. Show your favorite YouTube videos off. Favorite music videos? Favorite Tutorial videos? Favorite funny videos?? You’ve got multiple posts here you can share easily! Make sure to write a little about each.
49. Write about the history of ____ whatever you are interested in.
50. Share an old essay from college! or high school if you haven’t gone.
51.  Explain how you make money blogging.
52. Write an argumentative post on something you’re actually against, but pretend you’re FOR it. You can add a disclaimer at the bottom or top saying that you’re against against whatever it is. But you wanted to try out your argumentative essay skills!
53. Write an argumentative post on something you’re actually for, and see how it goes!
54. Write an “About Me According To _____” post, like the one I did asking Lisi to answer questions about me.
55. Write 20 (or more) random facts about yourself!
56. Write 20+ random facts about someone else in your family.
57. Have your significant other write a post for you about something.
58. Draw a picture or a comic. Paint a picture even.
59. Show off your Pinterest fails! Or heck ANY DIY fail you may have done!
60. Write about things TO DO to be a successful blogger.
61. Write about things NOT to do to be a successful blogger.
62. Open yourself up to guest posts, and write a post on your guidelines so people know what you’d accept.
63. List your recommendations of who to follow on twitter.
64. Share your favorite pictures others have posted on Instagram.
65. Write about what you’d do if you had $1,000,000.
66. Write about what you’d do if you have 30 days left to live.
67. Talk about problems you’ve had in life and how you got through them.
68. Share inspirational quotes and pictures.
69. Write in response to someone else’s post, and link to their post!
70. Make and post your own infographics.
71. Share your favorite infographics.
72. Imagine where you’ll be five years from now.
73. Talk about where you were five years ago.
74. Share a touching story.
75. Share a scary story.
