One of the things I am trying still to get in the habit of is taking care of myself better. So getting to try out B-leve products has been a lovely experience for me.
Disclaimer: I was set the following products in order to facilitate this review, no other compensation was gained in writing this post. Thanks!
I was sent b-tranquil, b-refreshed, b-youthful beauty products!
b-tranquil is a lotion that is soothing, and super moisturizing. It contains cocoa butter extract, Vitamin E and Goji berry extract. It is hypoallergenic (even Cid’s overly sensitive skin can handle it! Woo!) and paraben-free. 🙂
There is no real heavy scent, which at first threw me off … just a bit I have to say. I’ve grown used to some scent or another, but after the first little bit it wasn’t a big deal at all.
b-refrehed body wash is pretty nice, but I would love if there was some mint extract for the scent. That’s just me though, it’s blue and I’d kind of like a peppermint or something. It does have a scent though, so that’s good. It’s a nice refreshing scent and I love how my skin feels during and after use.
This body wash has safflower oil, glycerin & vitamin E extract, and is also paraben free. 🙂
I am so bad about using the last one! b-youthful is a lovely face and eye serum, I always forget to put these types of things on more than a couple of times. >.> Yes, I need to put up reminders. As I do love how it smells and feels. I bet my face would look amazing if I kept at it!
b-youthful:
• firms skin
• enhances skin tone & balances complexion
• paraben-free
• non-irritating & hypoallergenic
I was also sent some tools to use as well! b-impeccable, b-polished and b-precise.
b-impeccable is a foundation brush, that I haven’t used much because I rarely put on foundation. My health has been having issues and I haven’t been taking care of myself much. I have to go through some tests and procedures the next few weeks that I am not looking forward to… So it’s been hard to force myself to get my act together and take care of things like my appearance..
I will say that I like how much easier it is to put on foundation when I DO use it, with this brush instead of what I was trying before.
b-polished is a brush for lipstick or for concealer. I let Lisi use this one, as she loves lipstick and I figured this would give her better detail instead of trying to use a full lipstick on her lips and… well.. doing clown face. >.>
Let’s just say it’s helped pretty well with that! I was impressed with how easy this brush was use to use, and wash for later use…
Last, but of course not least, is b-precise, a two piece set of tweezers. Now, I am kind of a chicken when it comes to tweezers… I’ve never used them on certain things. Usually, I just shave off the random stray hairs I’ve gotten on my face (one in the mole next to my mouth.. and the other under my chin… ughh…) but since getting this set I’ve learned that using tweezers is much quicker and less agitating! Sure, a little ‘sharp’ feeling for a second, but sooo much better at getting rid of those darn random yucky hairs I don’t want hanging around on my face. >.>
I am very impressed with the quality of the b-leve products I was sent, and I am going to very likely be purchasing their shampoo and conditioner made for colored hair very soon. The girls are wanting me to do their hair, and it is about time I get off my butt and work on my own hair too. Taking care of oneself can be beneficial (even if harrrrrd) while depressed!
