As you know we like popcorn, and yeah yeah… chips. I also love to try out various different products that are snaky, and all natural things are something I am trying to incorporate into our diets more.
So when I heard of Open Road snacks I wanted to look into what they offered, and see about all of us trying them out!
Open Road Snacks offers three following brands of snacks…
Rocky Mountain Popcorn:
Kettle, Butter, Jalapeno, White Cheddar, Naked, and Caramel flavors.
Sea Salt & Butter, Asiago Ranch, Chile Picante flavors.
Diego’s Hot & Spicy Chips:
Red Chile and Habanero flavors
…………….
The Kettle corn was a nice fluffy popcorn with just the right sweet and salty balance! Butter popcorn ended up the favorite and quickly devoured by Kat, while Sisi kidnapped the entire bag of White Cheddar. Var was pretty thrilled with the Jalapeno flavor, even though I’ve never seen the appeal of Jalapeno flavored anything.
Lisi loved the Caramel, and Risi enjoyed some of the naked popcorn. Which isn’t perfectly naked, it actually has a little salt.
I have to admit the look of the Poplets were a little strange, basically just partially popped popcorn kernels flavored in three different flavors. Sea Salt & Butter was Kat’s favorite, along with the Asiago Ranch. Even the cat were interested in the Sea Salt & Butter, but no we did not allow them to eat any of it! These were oddly good despite the fact they are what they are! I wasn’t really sure what to think at first, and Var wanted to eat the entire Chile Picante flavor. Which had an interesting reddish color and you could smell the spice!
You can buy any of the Open Road Snacks on their website or find stores that carry their products. You can connect with them on both Facebook and Twitter as well!
