Begin Again toys has a vast collection of toys that are wonderful without needing batteries or being required to make an excessive amount of noise. Simple, basic, but still fun none the less! The beginner toys from Begin Again Toys are meant for smaller kids, around Risi’s age to help them with fine motor skills like grabbing, stacking, and pushing.
I picked a Nubble Rumbler for Risiel, and we were provided with both a car and truck in order to facilitate this review. Yes, we were compensated in form of receiving this product, but opinions are my own or those of people living here unless otherwise stated!
What I liked about the idea of the Nubble Rumble were the thick sturdy wheels, lack of overly small parts, and the awesome nubbly/bumpy ball in the center. The fact that they’re made from sustainably harvested rubber wood and use non-toxic child safe stains was another added bonus. Risi is one of those who loves to put anything and EVERYTHING in her mouth.
It just so happens that even Lisi appears to love the Nubble Rumblers, as she’s super excited to get to play with them. What is it with older kiddos and loving baby toys? Of course Lisi’s preference is the pink one, because she is all about all things pink. Perhaps I should have picked a Begin Again toy in Lisi’s range to review? 😉
Risi’s immediate reaction was to play with the wheels, enjoying the different textures. Mostly right now she prefers to play with the rubber ball in the center. Lisi thinks they’re fun, and did allow me to take a picture of her with the red truck. 😛 Silly goose!
I will admit even I play with this. I love to touch the ball and just kind of randomly pick one up and roll it on the couch or on my leg.
Sisi seems to think that these feel good gently rolled over your back, kind of in a massage manner. It’s strange, but it actually does feel pretty darn good!
You can buy the Nubble Rumblers from Begin Again Toys’ website, for $15 each. They’re recommended for ages 18+ months, but I’ll say that at almost 12 months, Risi seems to do just fine with hers. I am sure by 18 months she’ll really get the point of playing with them.
