Today’s Motivational Monday quote:
“The quality of a man’s life is in direct proportion to his commitment to excellence, regardless of his chosen field of endeavor.”

Motivational Monday!
Good afternoon all, Cid here with your Motivational Monday! Well, it’s more like evening here… long day. We did have a great dinner with our Almond Chicken, over rice with broccoli, home-made of course. Strangely, I don’t mind cooking a good dinner after a long day, most of the time. Kisa and I work quite well together in the kitchen.
Today’s quote is actually from a more contemporary person than most of the others I’ve posted, so it doesn’t feel as anachronistic, at least to me. Also, while the wording of the quote is somewhat gender-biased, the speaker was a football coach, accustomed to addressing an almost entirely male audience (his team and the average sports reporter), but it does apply equally to everyone.
It says to me that a person will have a better, more enjoyable life, more meaningful and fulfilled, if they are willing to put forth their full effort, to try their hardest. Similarly, if you’re not willing to try, or if you only do ‘good enough’ work, then you’re not very likely to get what you want, instead only getting ‘good enough’ to get you by.
So, that’s my thought for the week. I’ve been putting a lot of work into what I want to do with my life, and it’s making good progress now. How about our readers? Do you have any life goals you’ve been striving for, anything you’re proud of?
Later,
-C
