Motivational Monday
The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit. – Nelson Henderson
Good morning all, Cid here with your Motivational Monday! I’ve missed the past two weeks due largely to recovering from a pretty stubborn illness, and losing my job because of it. I’ve found a new job already and it pays a lot better than the last, with a lot less stress than the last too, so things are looking up on that front.
Anyway…
Today’s Motivational Monday quote is about life in general. I really like this one, because it says that all of our actions should be expected to affect future generations. We should take careful consideration of our actions before committing them; making sure that what we do, we know we want to be remembered for, and we know that we want our future generations to look at and enjoy.
Everything we do has consequences and, like trees, those consequences may take a long time to really appear at full strength. We’ve all done things that come back months, sometimes years, later to haunt us, or reward us. Strive for those that reward you, and reward those who come after you.
Later,
-C
