Have you ever bought the pouches of pureed fruits and things and thought there has to be a better way than just creating that much more waste? Or wanted to put in things that your kids like instead of attempting to get them to like something they’ve never had before (drama!)?
I was pleased to be contacted by the folks at Yummi Pouch reuseable food pouches as it allows me to give Risi some baby food fruits/veggies she likes while on the go, as well as to give Lisi apple sauce in school lunches by buying the bigger container of it instead of the little cups.
That and.. my spoons will hopefully stop going missing?!
Risi wasn’t so sure of eating her food in pouches, she’s been kind of a butt lately with eating. But she’ll eat some now and that’s great. I can take the fruits and veggies on the road and not worry about having to lug a container (that might not get finished, so I only pack half of one in a pouch) and a spoon (that I’ll probably lose…) around. Just a pouch that I can throw back in the diaper bag and then wash later.

The bigger pouches have proven great for Lisi’s lunches. She eats applesauce and this is a great way to send it in her lunch. Plus there isn’t a likelihood that anything will accidentally crush a applesauce cup anymore and make it explode all over the rest of her lunch and her lunch box (had it happen, uggh…) The
Yummi Pouches really have proven to be a great thing for the kids and I. I think I’d probably put pudding in them, and juice in the future. Spare juice boxes and extra extra space in lunch bags. Juice box corners mush into sandwiches, Yummi pouches don’t, they can be put under the sandwich without a care.
