If evil be said of thee, and if it be true, correct thyself; if it be a lie, laugh at it.

Good evening all! Cid here with your Motivational Monday. It’s been another long day… going through an allergic reaction to anti-inflammatories, knocked out by the allergy meds I had to take so I didn’t get worse, and overall being completely drained by the experience.
Today’s quote is another old one; I’m not that familiar with ancient philosophy so I couldn’t really tell you when or where it’s from, but it’s very true. If (and when) other people talk bad about you, there’s only two right ways to deal with it – laugh it off, when they’re making it up, or fix it if it’s true. Don’t let yourself be dragged down to the level of those who would simply speak lies, to try to make someone else look bad; and, if you deserve it, then obviously you need to right the bad behaviors.
Later,
