Heartfelt Books is a company that brings a new twist to your traditional personalized book.
You go through a process that lets you show someone exactly how you feel. Depending on who you are creating your special book for, the site knows to ask certain questions to get the right kind of book for you and the receiver. These books aren’t only for your spouse or significant other, you can order a book for your parents, sibling, grandparents, aunt/uncle or niece and nephew.
There is also a selection depending on the occasion you are giving this book for.
I got to try out the site, and make a book that I am going to be giving as a Christmas gift. Though I’m so bad at these sort of things, this would have been perfect when I was a far less shy person! Yes, at one point filling out these types of questions would have bee far far easier! 😉
Honestly, the process wasn’t that bad. It was similar to filling out an ‘about you’ type section on a dating profile, but it’s about someone else instead of you.
For me, I really wanted to be as awesome as possible when writing these things, so I froze at first! Still, I managed through the process and am only slightly embarrassed (I’m so shy it’s actually rather silly) at the results.
In the end though? I’ve got this beautiful hardbound book to give, with the answers to my questions put in a font I picked, with an embossed cover of my choosing. These are the perfect gift to give if you’re great with writing and being wordy about how you feel about someone. Let them know how you feel and they can read it over and over.
Sometimes, it’s hard to really convey how you feel out loud… a least for me. I am glad that I got to make this book, and go through the process of looking at these questions for my intended and writing the answers. Even if I feel I would have done much better years ago, I hope that the results bring a smile to his face. I got to personalize so much of this book, that it’s kind of going to be embarrassing as I feel like I am exposing a lot of my inner self with it.
