About Del MonteFruit Burst™ Squeezers
Del Monte Fruit Burst Squeezers are made in the U.S.A., Del Monte Fruit Burst™ Squeezers contain 1 ½ servings of fruit or fruit and veggies and are an excellent source of vitamins A and C. In addition, Del Monte Fruit Burst™ Squeezers contain no artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup! Which is awesome because when it comes to fruit and veggies for my kids, I don’t want high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors anywhere near them! Of course I try and limit their exposure to HFCS as it is.

I was leery at first about this product, the idea of mushed up fruit in a pouch is foreign to me and I just wasn’t sure I could get on board with the idea of eating them or having the kids eat them. With my texture issues I didn’t actually give them a try, but thankfully everyone else could be used as a guinea pig! 😉
Lisi was excited to try these! I was surprised because she’s always a bit more timid of trying new foods. But one of her best friends has these in her lunches at school so she really wanted to experience it.
She ended up not super loving the Strawberry flavor, but didn’t mind the Apple Cinnamon all that much. Cid on the other hand thought the Strawberry was fine, and Aussie sucked the mixed berry flavor down in no time.
The fruit and veggie ones threw everyone off the most, but I think more exposure would likely remedy that problem. You know what they say,, it can take more than one try of something before you know if you really like or hate it?
They likely would have been better received cold, well maybe. That could just be me preferring fruits cold than anything else? 😉
I think letting Ninja likely experiences them from an early age would mean she’d like them quicker than the rest of the kids who aren’t really used to pureed fruit and veggies. Or maybe these would be great tossed in a smoothie recipe to boost the nutrition?
