Introducing the StandScan Pro! The perfect scanner for your smart phone! This little scanner stand folds flat to put in your backpack, briefcase, laptop bag or to be easily carried with you. Fits perfectly in your luggage and is a low price!
Need to scan something for work or school and you’re no place NEAR a scanner?
Pop out your standscan, use an appropriate PDF creation app (or even just take a picture!), and your smartphone to take a perfect scan of what you need. Email it to yourself, or whoever you need to, and voila! You’ve sent a scan of something without the hassle of finding a scanner and/or paying fees to use one and a computer for email.
Here is a picture of the StandScan all popped up with the lights turned off:
Here’s a picture with the unit plugged in and the lights on and my iphone (version 4) on top ready to scan!
Now for the purposes of a test, I scanned a picture Lisi quickly drew using marker of a Pokemon. I haven’t editted the picture, and I did it at high quality but not actual quality for the phones photo taking.
Of course you can easily email this to yourself, use a photo editing program to crop, and you’d still have a wonderful scan. I wish I would have had this back when I used to have to take the bus to Seattle to get the kids from the Ex. I could have scanned drawings I did instead of trying to take photos with my phone and having them come out crummy. If you ask me, this photo came out fantastic! Aside from my need for cropping of course.
I’ll also note that this StandScan would be perfect for taking pictures of products as it works as a great light box since it’s lighted with LED’s up above the item. I took a picture of some detangling spray that we use for Sisi’s hair and it worked great, at least I think so.
I absolutely love my stand scan, and plan to take it with me in my backpack! That way if I ever miss a day of class and need to borrow someones notes, I can simply scan a pic, send it to my email and use it that way. How perfect? It’ll also be great for little doodles I want to keep if I’m someplace where I can’t just scan it myself. Like at home. 🙂
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Is this a box type that you put your item to be scanned in? Looks like cardboard..Not sure but asking because you said something about lights? Anyway, good ideal because you always need to have that one item scanned or pic saved at the wrong times when nothing is around. Thx
