Sisi turned 9 yesterday. In a busy day full of yummy lunch, dinner, and ice cream for all. Her birthday present from me is the newest Pokemon game, that isn’t released yet. Pokemon toys from the ex, not sure what from the ex-h until he gets here, and two awesome Spider-man books from the Aussie.
It’s hard to imagine that it’s been 9 years since Sis finally was able to enter the world. Her impatience on things started pre-mature labor many times and I ended up spending the last 2 1/2ish months of my pregnancy confined to a couch in misery of bed rest. It was awful really, I would have given a lot to be able to move. I’ve never been the same since those two and a half months… I got used to being lazy. I need to fix that, not her! LOL.
Still… Sis is my very special little Spider-bear.
My pika-girl.
Who’s so goofy and funny that it almost makes you underestimate her. Indeed, I have underestimated her in the past. I tried to teach her to read and write before school, only to be met with ‘but I caaaaaan’ts’ and much resistance. Then it turned to be that she is off the charts in reading expectations for her grade, and her handwriting is better than her older sister’s~!
It’s been 9 years and I look forward to so many more.
So happy birthday! If a little belated my sweet Spider-bear! I love you and look forward to seeing what a beautiful woman you’ll become and are starting to be already. I know you’re in a hard position in the child lineup, not exactly the middle, but the middle daughter. Sometimes overshadowed for attention by others.. But I’m trying, we’re trying my sweet, witty, smart-butted little one.
I remember the Pokemon battle so long ago in which you were losing and proclaimed “You’we killing me Daddy! You’we killing my hawrt!” and how we both felt awful, but felt our hearts melt just in the way you said it.
The same little girl who handed one piece of her birthday present to her sister because she had extra’s. Here you are Spider-bear, Sisi, your very own special post just for you. I didn’t forget, I’m just a little behind sometimes.
I love you so much! Let’s see what the next year brings!
