SodaStream Review

We were lucky enough to get approved to try and review a SodaStream Soda Maker!! I was so thrilled to learn that we were approved that I pretty much stalked the UPS man!

Var and I used the SodaStream first to make some rootbeer from our sample pack.

Here is Var’s reaction to getting to try the rootbeer first. I had video of us making it for the first time, but I ended up putting the root beer flavor in so fast that it actually exploded all over the place and… well.. that was embarrassing. Still, the Root Beer came out and everyone who tried it (The kids and I, plus the ex) ended up liking it!

Then of course the rest of us just HAD to try it too…

 

From there we’ve tried Orange (loved by all but Lisi), Cola (Loved by all), Ginger Ale (only loved by two), Cranberry Raspberry (loved by 5 only liked by Lisi), the Energy sample (for the ex, who didn’t end up liking it), Cola Free (liked by 3 disliked by 3), and the water flavors which should be like talking rain and we don’t really like talking rain… so no one liked it. But I hear that they give the Cola a zip so I plan to actually give that a little shot and see!

I love that the Cola was HFCS free and still tasted amazing!

Next up I really want to get my hands on Cream Soda (on the request of Kat and Var who love it), as well as their Dr. Pete (which should be like Dr. Pepper apparently.)

I absolutely LOVE our SodaStream and can see us using it more in the near future. To the point where I will likely use the website to get replacement CO2 canisters so we can keep making our water fizzy and our own special drinks. The kids love using the machine and yes… even I do too enjoy using it. Making it buzz as I make our own fizzy drinks at home instead of lugging home a 2litre here and there. Whew!

I would highly recommend SodaStream to all my readers! It’s a great deal and a fun machine to use. I enjoy the flavors more than most Soda’s out there and that’s saying something of someone formerly addicted to Pepsi. Yes, admittedly I was addicted to that stuff.
