Meet Kiki and Lisi's new skirt!

Sooo….

Xiki was lonely… and I had to go to the pet store we bought him from. Why did I write “fromt” there? Fromt is not a word, go self. o.O;

Anyway, Xiki was lonely and I noticed these sweeeeeeet adoooooorable *say that in a girly oh so sugary voice and you’ve got it* little ‘moo-cow’ fancy mice. Yes… yesssss… ohh so cute!

Xiki is a mix between a curly and a non-curly. So his fur is still long and brilliant and silver.. he’s so beautiful. <3

I figured he’s lonely… and I don’t mind trying to home mice that are raised with people instead of a pet shop. >.> Really I don’t. I love wittle babies. XD

Yes… I did just use baby talk. >.> Forgive me, and deal? XD

Now then… this is Kiki!! <3 I love her she’s so spotted and cute and… fast! She’s in the jumper phase and just goes all over the place. She’s so adventurous and curious, just like Squee-ri was. <3

 For size comparison, here is Kiki with Xiki. 

Xiki is now our biggest mouse. Which is strange because before Suki looked the largest. But Xiki-man here… whew! I had to wonder if he was really a mouse he’s so big! But the lady at NW Seed and Pet assures me that he still is a mouse, just a big boy. o.O Go Xikers.

So yes, that was part of the errands I did yesterday, pet store and… a new baby. Now there are 6. Like there… would have been with Skee around. D:

*ahem*

So, I promised Lisi a dress after I made Sisi’s. She of course wanted it, like 10 years ago if you ask this girl! But In the end when it came to looking at my fabric, and all the other stuff going on right now I asked her. “How about a skirt? With this fabric….” and then I tried to figure out a good one for a ruffle, but decided fsk ruffles right now.. Sisi’s dress killed me on ruffles! So then I looked and was all, yeesssss finally a use for the random lace I bought because it was a good price all those years (at least 2…) ago!

So “this fabric and this lace, and I can make you a skirt in no time?”
“Yeah… I have a lot of shirts, and a lot of dresses. So a skirt is good~!”

I got this out in about 10-15 minutes. MOST of the time on the skirt was actually ironing out my hems and whatnot so I didn’t leave loose edges. So here we go! One cut of fabric, some lace, and 1/2″ elastic and Lisi has a new skirt.

She i s happy, so I am happy. Yayness!

Well, my breakfast coffee is melting and probably getting watered down… and I want to actually be able to enjoy my chocolate biscotti (sooo worth the 100 calories!) so off with me! Hope this Monday goes well, despite being Monday!
