So thanks to Tomoson again I was given a chance to review a product. This time was dry shampoo. Which I have been interested in for awhile really. I’ve been using corn starch baby powder when I have to run out of the house really quick and my hair was looking yucky.
I was given two samples, one of Tres’emme dry shampoo and one of Batiste dry shampoo. Batiste dry shampoo isn’t made with corn starch either, it’s actually made with Rice Starch, which is pretty neat. I have potato starch and rice flour and never figured to try using them instead of corn starch baby powder in my hair before.
Anyway.,,
Between Tres’emme and Batiste? Hands down?
Batiste is so good I haven’t returned to baby powder if my hair is looking funky and I have no time for a shampoo and conditioner routine. Which happens, it’s summer and I sweat so my hair can get the funk rather easily.
This was me before Tres’emme… greasy, yucky, but needed to get a move on!
After Tres’emme. Not greasy, dry, but sticky and awkward feeling like I was wearing hair-spray for hours. I didn’t like the feeling at all. Considering I don’t regularly use hairspray, this was not a feeling I enjoyed at all. I also noticed that I looked greasy within a few hours. Bummer.
After I showered out the Tres’emme and waited the few days before I could try the Batiste, this is how I looked. Eww, sorry.
Afterwards, my hair felt good. Yes it looks a little oily here, but I hadn’t brushed it all the way through just yet. I loved the smell, as I got the Blush scent.. which just reminded me of the smell of makeup anyway. Even Lisi commented that she liked the scent! My hair was not oily and gross feeling.. but also not sticky dry like the Tres’emme and I made sure to follow the directions given to a T.
This is my hair from the front. Granted when I brush my hair it kills the natural wave and I look like an alternative version of Ami aka Sailor Mercury from Sailor Moon. XD I did cosplay as her once… Sailor Mercury I mean. <3 First time getting to do my blue and I’ve loved it since…
Anyway! Batiste is now my go-to for between hair washes, adds some volume to my hair (but I don’t wanna brush my hair like this often.. lol) and I love the scent Blush. They also have one that adds a gold shimmer! I want to try that one for sure.
If you could show some love for me and like Batiste on Facebook and Twitter, we (Batiste and I) would be extremely appreciative. <3
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
