” Put our heart, mind and soul into even the smallest acts. This is the secret of success.”

I did it! I managed to remember before the end of the day to get up a Motivational Monday! Go me! ~_^
Even if ‘Ruun was trying to distract me with a game of fetch, darn it ‘Ruuny! Stop being so cute and kippy like!
What? someone has to be my cheerleader eh? and if it’s not me, then who? Perhaps really what a lot of people need is to remember to be their own cheerleader. To indeed put your heart, mind, and soul into even the smallest thing. That way, at the end of the day no matter what happens, you know you’ve given your all and done everything you can do. Even if the outcome isn’t the perfected ideal you’ve had in your head since the start.
Don’t stop doing what you need because you’re afraid that you can’t reach some ideal that may be unreachable. Or may actually BE reachable, but you don’t always get it right.
This is something still that I need to work on.
So how was everyone’s weekend? Mine was… interesting and long. By interesting I mean that I had a massive bought of insomnia that meant that I did not sleep a wink from after my nap on Saturday until I went to bed last night at 9:30 P.M.
In all that time I actually did so much! I no longer have an office, because I ‘out of sight out of minded’ that room it was pretty useless. Instead I finally took matters into my own hands in regards to the tensions the girls have been having for awhile. They didn’t all want to share the master bedroom, because it’s “not right outside the playroom” said the big girls, so they shared the second largest room which is downstairs (we have a split-level house, it’s strange.. I’m only 1/2 sure I like it like this…)
Yet there was tension because Kat and Sis like to whisper and talk as they fall asleep, and Lisi wants to sleep. Yet Lisi takes a bit to shift and get comfortable which made the bigger girls complain that well they’re chatting quietly, but she “wiggles too much!” So, I decided at 6 A.M that if Lisi wants it, she can have my office (the 4th bedroom) as her own bedroom. By the time she woke up at 10:30 yesterday I’m antsy and have already moved around some of the living room furniture to make myself an “office” aka work area type of space instead.
From there yes, yes she does want her own room! So I make her waffles, and make extra waffles to freeze and have for toaster waffles. AS I’m moving all my furniture and things out of my old office, which included my bigger computer desk, my drawing table, my craft/fabric cubby storage, sewing machine, toaster oven, sewing desk, printer, other storage things.. etc. @_@
From there I had to take apart her bed, have her clean up any of her mess (oh man oh man was it a mess!) under her bed and then make her new dresser for her.
Ohhh…. oh darn!!!! I just remembered that straight from class I was supposed to go to the hardware store! Two of the wooden slats on Sis’ bed are broken and I meant to go replace them. :/ Now unless I do it after I pick them up I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow. I haven’t even measured them.
Anyway, I’ve had a long, busy, sleep deprived weekend, where I hardly got any homework done and I have tons to so! I’m so so sorry I’ve been so quiet, but I may need a couple more days of quietness and just making sure I keep sharing all the giveaways going on with you guys. @_@
I hope everyone is doing well, and I look forward to getting to be able to write more and post more other than lots of giveaways and things. Not that I mind giveaways, actually not in the slightest you all know I love them! I just want to have more of my own content of course.
Tomorrow, I’m going to have up that video I talked about before, the one with the Turkey’s when they were in the back yard! Yes! Wednesday will have my Wordless Wednesday post and… I think Thursday will have more Japanese phrases to learn!
Ja matta ashita!
