This week has been a little hard on me. I got my grades back for my assignments last week, and instantly fell into a darker sad mood. On Tuesday I learned I got a 83.33% oh my paper for my Sociology class, and today I got a 92.**% (I forget) on my history paper for last week. I had been doing pure 100%’s on my history papers before that.
So I apparently need to put more effort into than I thought I was doing. Or something. Or I am just a fair bit overwhelmed with things right now. I guess I’ve learned now not to attempt two classes at once that require a ton of reading when you have kids. Holy crumbs.
We have our first massive review/quiz in Soc on Thursday, and I am freaking out. It’s worth 100 points total, with 50 of those given to two essay questions. Darn, essay questions have a tendency to feel like ‘the end’for me. My handwriting is lacking a bit and I tend to freeze up. Still, I can do this. I can do this I can do this. I just need to dedicate a fair bit of time to homework and really put the effort into things I was putting into it just a week before last! I cannot be satisfied seeing a 92% on an assignment after getting 100% three times in a row.
Still, I will continue to post here and there of course. I have two product reviews coming up after the products come and I get to test them! One of them will include a giveaway as well as the review, and the other will simply be a review. Still, I am interested in getting to try these products and excited to get to share them with all of you!!
On top of that, I am participating in a great many giveaways very soon, and on top of that as I’ve mentioned have a giveaway coming up that I am running just by myself. I also may be wanting to do a 500 fan giveaway whenever it is I get about to getting to that point! Today I just noticed that my Facebook fan count is at almost 400!! Thank you thank you all so very much for following/liking me! I appreciate each and every one of you for taking whatever time you take to just come visit our little part of the world. 😉 Makes a girl feel important yanno? 😛
I now have to run and get the youngest from school. Real fast though, here is a pic of Sis after Crazy Hair day at school today. Granted they did some dancing/head banging stuff today. So it’s a bit of a mess, but she’s always always had this ‘messy bear head’ “problem” 😛
Can you tell she lost another tooth recently? My goodness how fast they grow up!!
editing: Here is one of the back of Lisi’s hair. I suppose she remembered that I sometimes used to put my hair up with chopsticks when it was long. So after I’d asked her what all we should put in her hair “well not chopsticks!” she laughed, and then I said “Actually, you know we can! I have a pair in my purse!”
So we did, and she enjoyed getting to dress in normal clothes instead of the usual uniform attire, and have crazy hair!
I used jewelry making quire in order to bend the braids and make them stick up at the ends like that. Mini-Dice beads held together after being threaded on a needle with thread, and then wrapped around the end of the braids and knotted off carefully. Of course, a pair of chopsticks that were indeed in my purse. Now I need a new pair of ‘just in case’ purse chopsticks!
